Aarond Siskind’s work is mostly abstract images in black n’ white, most of his work was to with nature and architecture, as well as texture. Aarond Siskind also took some photos of human forms as well. In my opinion, Aaron Siskind’s work is really nice to look at, his black n’ white photos make you wonder what they actually are and what he took the picture of, the way how his photos aren’t just black and white, but also have gray tones as well, making his work all the more enjoyable.
This advertisement caught my attention because it is really pretty with the matching blue background and the little ad ins on the floor of the products, as well as the sparkles.The kitkat ad caught my attention because of how they were able to catch the crumbs before they hit the floor and how the catch phrase just brings it all together.The reason this jeep advertisement caught my attention is because it because of how the shadow of the car is another colored version of it, and how lightings are different in the shadows then in real time.

Most lights, regardless of the brand or model, provide heads that come in the form of a strobe surrounded by a reflector.
Reflecting umbrellas produce a diffused and soft light due to the larger size of the reflecting surface. They are mounted in such a way that the strobe light is actually facing away from the subject or model.
Silver-lined umbrellas are the most efficient and can focus light more narrowly than the other types. White umbrellas offer a wider spread of reflected light, and gold umbrellas produce a warm tone.
Light emitted from the strobe head gets reflected inside the walls of the soft box and diffused through the box’s translucent front creating a soft, but more focused light source illuminating the model or scene.
With an umbrella on the other hand, light can spill beyond the boundaries of the reflective surface affecting the amount of light getting back to the subject. Spilled light can also hit walls and ceilings indoors causing it to reflect and bounce all over the place. An umbrella simply isn’t as controllable as a soft box.
